Our Founder, Eva Wilde

Hi there my fierce and freaky fam! I'm Eva…well, as mentioned on our Our Story page, that is a pseudonym. For those of you who jumped over the Our Story page (tsk tsk)…Why a Pseudonym? I am protecting my identity because in my journey to this badass, liberated, sexual state, I had to leave behind institutions, friends, and family who could be indirectly affected.

Please be assured - while the name may be made up, the experiences I share are raw and real.

So, let's get started, shall we?

I'm Eva - the long and the short of it is I grew up in a very strict, religious, repressed, rule-based home. There was absolute right and wrong and the world was black and white. I was taught that sex outside of marriage was wrong, the only way to stop unwanted pregnancy or STIs (STDs at the time) was abstinence, and the only acceptable union or romantic partnership was a man and woman and, oh ya - monogamous.

As I'm sure you're aware - the road has been a long and winding one. It has been painful, stimulating, joyful, confusing, mind-blowing (at times), liberating, and so very rewarding. I have learned that keeping an open-mind and broadening our perspective helps me and others around me flourish. I have met the most extraordinary people who have challenged me, supported me, guided me, held me when I cried, and celebrated along with me in my triumphs.

Rather than judging those around me and/or trying to bring them around to my way of thinking, I now listen with curiosity in order to better understand and learn, and I share with vulnerability so that I can be truly seen and others can share and feel safe in my presence.

So many of us grew up feeling guilt and shame around our desires, our wants and our needs. It has been a dream and goal of mine for the past 2 years to create a platform where I can share my experiences with the desire and hope that it will allow others to feel that they are not alone in their journey. This space is NOT about judgement - it is a place where we celebrate learning and our individuality, but acknowledge the need to be seen, heard, and to belong.

I look forward to sharing my experiences with you and engaging with you to continue to grow my knowledge and understanding.

Let’s do this together, shall we?
